Carl Philipp Emanuel Bach
Carl Philipp Emanuel Bach (1714-1788) was the second surviving son of Johann Sebastian Bach. His musical style reflects the gradual transition from Baroque to Classical styles that was occurring during his life.
On this website you can find accompaniments for C.P.E. Bach's popular Flute Concerto in D, as well as four of his most popular flute sonatas and the amusingly titled Hamburger sonata, which reflects the fact he spent a considerable amount of time living in the city of Hamburg.
