Lennox Berkeley


Lennox Berkeley (1903-1989) was an English composer, born in the city of Oxford.

While studying music in Paris he became acquainted with many of the leading figures of European music including Poulenc, Stravinsky, Ravel and Nadia Boulanger. He wrote a large body of music including operas and choral music.

This website offers piano accompaniment tracks for all movements of Berkeley’s Flute Sonatina, Op.13, which can also be played on recorder. A link can be found below.
