Edvard Grieg
Edvard Grieg (1843-1907) was a Norwegian composer and pianist.

He was born in Bergen, and the city has many cultural monuments named after him. His music contains elements of Norwegian folk music, and it has helped to form a sense of Norway’s national identity. He is perhaps most famous for composing the Peer Gynt and Holberg suites, and his Piano Concerto in A minor has become one of the most famous in the whole repertoire.

This website features piano accompaniments for all three of Grieg’s violin sonatas, as well as his Cello Sonata and an arrangement of Solvejg’s Song. Links can be found below.
