Christoph Willibald Gluck
Christoph Willibald Gluck (1714-1787) was one of the first composers to write in what is now known as the classical style.
He grew up in Bohemia, and was most famous for reforming French and Italian opera traditions, and even synthesising the two together.
This website includes piano accompaniment to arrangements of some of Gluck popular opera extracts, as well as his Flute Concerto in G which is a staple of the repertoire. Links can be found below.
