Leó Weiner


Leó Weiner (1885-1960) was a Hungarian composer and music educator, born in Budapest.

He spent much of his life teaching at the Budapest Academy of Music, his classes included music theory and composition. He wrote three string quartets, five divertimenti for orchestra and a number of chamber and instrumental works.

This website includes an accompaniment for Weiner’s Peregi Verbunk, Op.40 for clarinet and piano. A link can be found below.
