Fritz Kreisler
Fritz Kreisler (1875-1962) was an Austrian-born violinist and composer, later in life he became a US citizen.
He is considered one of the greatest violinists of all time, and his tone and performance style were considered unique. He composed a lot of pieces for violin, including many pastiches in the style of other composers. Many were originally ascribed to those composers, before Kreisler revealed them as his own original works.
