Franz Anton Hoffmeister
Franz Anton Hoffmeister (1754-1812) was an Austrian composer and music publisher.
He wrote a large body of works including 50 symphonies and 25 concertos, although most of these have not found their way into modern repertoire. One exception is Hoffmeister’s Viola Concerto in D, which is in the staple repertoire for violists and for which piano accompaniment tracks can be found on this website. A link can be found below.
