Jean Gabriel-Marie
Jean Gabriel-Marie (1852-1928) was a French composer and conductor, born in Paris.
He composed a number of small scale pieces, often in dance form. His most popular work is La Cinquantaine, which translates as ‘The Golden Wedding’, which was originally written for cello and piano and exists in a number of arrangements.
