Antonio Vivaldi
Antonio Vivaldi (1678-1741) was an Italian composer and violinist.
He was responsible for helping popularise the concerto form and he wrote around five hundred of them, around half for violin. He also wrote a number of operas and sacred works, and his Gloria in particular remains a popular work today.
This website contains piano accompaniment tracks for all four of Vivaldis violin concertos known as The Four Seasons (Spring, Summer, Autumn and Winter) which are probably his best known works. Also available are his six cello/viola sonatas and various other concertos. Links can be found below.
