Dmitry Kabalevsky
Dmitry Kabalevsky (1904-1987) was a Soviet composer, conductor and pianist, born in St. Petersburg.
He was an admired musician within the Soviet Union and was awarded the Lenin Prize in 1972. He was a prolific composer who wrote symphonies, film scores, many works for children and several popular concertos.
