André Messager
André Messager (1853-1929) was a French composer, pianist and conductor.
He studied with Saint-Saens and Faure, and became a significant figure in Parisian musical society. He composed eight ballets and over thirty stage works, some of which enjoyed long runs in London’s West End and Broadway in New York.
