Sergei Prokofiev
Sergei Prokofiev (1891-1953) was a Russian composer, conductor and pianist.
He was one of the greatest composers of the 20th century, writing a substantial quantity of major works, many of which display a unique ferocity and virtuosity. He composed seven symphonies, seven opera, eight ballets, several concertos and many instrumental works. He famously died on the same day as Joseph Stalin.
