Richard Rodney Bennett
Sir Richard Rodney Bennett (1936-2012) was an English composer and jazz pianist.
He composed in a variety of styles, including jazz, avant-garde and modernism, but later settled on his own broadly tonal idiom. He wrote several choral works and many film and television scores, as well as chamber works for various instruments.
