Josef Suk
Josef Suk (1874-1935) was a Czech composer and violinist.
He was one of the favourite pupils of Antonin Dvorák, and went on to marry Dvoráks daughter Otilie. Much of his music was imbued with a sense of mortality, including his own funeral march which he wrote, although other works show a more uplifting side such as his Pohádka (Fairy Tale).
