Pierre Sancan
Pierre Sancan (1916-2008) was a French composer, conductor and pianist.
He was well known in France during his lifetime, but never achieved the international fame of his 20th century compatriots Messiaen and Dutilleux.
His best known work is the Sonatine for flute and piano, a staple of the flute repertoire composed in 1946, and piano accompaniment tracks for Sancans Sonatine can be found on this website. A link for the work is below.
