Brahms' two clarinet sonatas, Op.120 were among the very last pieces he wrote, and both demonstrate his mature mastery of chamber writing. Brahms later transcribed the solo parts for viola, while the piano parts stayed the same hence these accompaniment tracks work for either instrument. The first sonata is in F minor and lasts for around 24 minutes in performance.
